tk-730 no tone encode with scan enable

Hi

I cannot get the tk-730 to transmit a subaudiable tone when scan is enabled. Mic offhook is enabled and tones work when scan is not enabled.
any suggestions?

You might need to upgrade your firmware,the FAA,FAB,FAC has been replaced with one chip that does it all,call Kenwood parts and ask them.
