Does any body know where I can get the cable for a Standard hx381 portable
Most any Vertex dealer should be able to help you out. Being an older radio it might take a while to get the parts.
The company at this link http://www.rfwiz.com/HX381_Acc.htm has the cable listed. I've never ordered from them so I can't give a positive or a negative response. I've been impressed with in the way they list information on current production and discontinued models.
