Battery options for TK-250 - AA or Li-Ion?

Hi
I have a TK-250, and am looking into other battery options than the NiMH one I have. Does anyone know if there are there any alkaline AA packs available for this radio, and if so where to get them? I know they are available for other Kenwood radios (e.g. KBP-1). I'm also interested in Li-Ion packs but assume there aren't any for this radio
