All the UHF 5100 radios I have played with were made to go down to the 380 MHz channels.

EF Johnson makes at least two UHF splits. I have two of these portables.
One is 403-470 mhz and the other is 450-512 mhz
PCConfigure will not let me take either radio out of it's split.

There is a 380-470 bandsplit version out there. One of the advantages of the new RF board in the more recent radios. Probably brought out to work on the 380mhz trunked systems for the government.

If the model number is a 512X then you have a 380-470
If the model number is a 513X then you have a 400-470
