Vertex VX3000 LB Vhf

Hey All,
Anyone have any luck or even know of tuning these to do the 6M band?
If so here's my problem,
I need the 42/44/48MHz for the commerical stuff and
would like to Tx on some Ham freqs also.
I can program the ham freqs into the radio and receive alright but the transmiter (when it does lockup) only hits 51MHz.
