Howdy,

I need some help getting my 99ch FTL-1011H on 10 meters. It is the low split model, already capable of going down to 29.7, but I can't seem to locate the data I need to edit in the hex editor. What am I missing? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Yes I have done it, but in involves changing the VCO in the unit. I obtained them right from Vertex directly. You will have to of course align the receiver etc.
I did it to a 4 channel FTL-1011H and worked fine.

Part number CA0632001 (29.7 - 39 Mhz VCO ) 25 Khz spacing.

It is very tricky removing the original VCO, so I would suggest you get an expert to do this or better still have a good soldering work station and tools.

You will still need a cable (from ebay) and the VPL1 progamming software from Vertex.
