The Radio Information Board

I was playing around with the kpg-44d software and was wondering how you setup the repeater function. I see you program one of the keys to mobile relay station. Then you have repeater channel list with no 1 and 2 group and channel. then in the channel edit screen you have repeater channel. Im confused on how this works. Can you only select one pair for repeating. so no matter what channel your on and you hit the mobile relay button it switches to the designated vhf and uhf channel. Any one have some insight on this one.

You are right. This configuration acts as a cross band repeater and will only work with the two channels defined in the repeater channel list.
