The Radio Information Board

I am having a problem with my TK-730 KCH-4 SIngle Head. When I power on the unit it comes on as it should, after about 10-15 seconds the display goes blank and I cannot transmit. I can hear everything still but there is just an orange screen. I do not know much about these radios and it was in the squad when it was assigned to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had one that would power on then go blank like yours after a few seconds with an orange screen and nothing worked.
After hours and hours of fiddling I found a capacitor in the control head had leaked and eaten into a trace underneath it. I would look for leaky caps.
