Orion EDACS capable of Conventional?

Post by seleong »

Hello!

I'm a newbie to GE/Orion radios, so please bear with me. I have two D2PMG1 (FCC AXATR-342-A2) mobile radios - UHF Orions? According to "Hall", these are UHF EDACS units. Are these units capable of conventional operation? If so, is the programming cable easy to build?

Thanks very much for your help!
