As far as I have ever heard... Nobody other than EFJohnson have ever licensed with /\/\ to make such a radio. Have heard from a reliable source that some EFJ walkies actually have Astro Saber boards inside of them......

That doesn't surprise me. Johnson has a portable(SmartNet/Zone) that uses the exact same accessory jack, speaker mic & other accessories as an HT-1000.
Kenwood has been involved with Trident, making Passport compatible products, along with standard LTR compatibles.
