Does anyone have the schematic of the KPG 22 programming cable? Also, is there any way to make the TK 350 accept Amatuer frequencies?

THe radios in the x50 series can be made to accept out of band info by going to the radio model drop down and selecting SP tune for the bandsplit. I believe it's global.

Ken, I don't know what I did wrong, but I can't get that circuit to work for me. I borrowed the KPG 22 and the KPG 4 from a friend, did a little experimenting (witch-doctoring!

), and devised my own circuit based on the KPG 4. When finished, it will take the place of both programmers, like the circuit you sent me is supposed to do, and will take a lot fewer parts to do it. If ya'll are interested, I'll post back (with pictures!) when I've finished it and made a few test runs.
Will, I checked, and it does have the "SP Tune" option in the software like you suggested. Thanks!

Does anyone have the part number of the transistors in the original Kenwood KPG-22? Or an acceptable replacement transistor?
