TKR-820

Post by Fugger »

anybody know where to get the original signaling unit for this repeater? (this is the Board that contains the Programming EEPROM) Part # unknown.

got a tkr-820 it has a DK1000 board on it.

Pulled the board from a 720... seems to work fine, but the repeater doesn't seem to hold the Programmed PL tones once eeprom is reinserted.

Followed the Directions that came with the KPT-50
Dropped EEPROM into KPT-50
Programmed Freq and PL's (encode/decode)...says "Write OK"
Pop EEPROM back in 820... no PL

Only Channel that is Programmed is Channel 1... all the rest are empty.

Was not using software that came with it kpg21d... as I can't seem to get it working from XP dos Shell...doesn't work across com 1 or 2

Guess i'll have to see if I can get an old Dos machine

Any ideas would be appreciated
