LPE200 AND ALLEGRA COMPATIBLE ??

I hope someone can help me with this, !

I want to download a personality from a LPE200 and put it into an allegra. Are they compatible and what is required in the process ?
I have the cable, programmer and software, I just need to know the other factors involved and their possible compatibilities and conflicts..

The best I can tell you is this:
Read the LPE200 into "ProGrammer" & save it. Then, re-open the recently saved LPE personality, change the radio type to Allegra (if it will allow this) & program the Allegra. From what I can tell, the Allegra is just an MDR that is only capable of Interconnect calls??? The MDR is an MDX without the front control panel with a telephone style handset instead. The MDR WILL allow regular 2-way type group calls, I-Calls & Telephone Interconnect. I have never seen an Allegra... So this is my best guess!
