I've picked up an 800 mhz LPE-200 radio, no history available. The radio appears to be totally dead - no display, no beeps, etc. Battery has been tested to ensure it's good. First target is a fuse - anyone know location, etc?
Also heard about trying to force recover the radio, but it does nothing different when connected for programming. Also tried the power on while holding the three side buttons.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Darrell

LPE
There is a small square fuse next to the + battery terminal inside the shield assembly. If that is good, it may be as simple as a bad switch\controller assy which provides a ground to turn the radio on. Unforturnately, they are EXPENSIVE. Good luck.
LPE problems
Thanks Glen, already been through the fuse route, I've got it externally fused and still no go.....I also swapped the case (which includes the on/off switch and channel selector switch) with a known working one - in other words, swapped just the guts, still nada. Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Darrell
