GE programming stuff TMX-8825 and edacs monogram

Post by KB0HFX »

Hello all,
Have a couple of radios giving me hassle. The local dealers have chucked their TQ-3344 for the TMX-8825 since nextel turned down all the GE-Marc stuff. So am having a heck of a time finding the SW to program this thing any ideas? The next one is an edacs monogram (maxon EM-4800) Im actually working with the LTR counterpart (TM-4800) and cant get the compuker to see it mostly because I probably dont have the interface correct. Anyone have any info on the cable and interface I belive part number RPM 113 2471/01 havnt found a TQ number for it. Any info on interfacing to this thing would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Austin

Finally secured the TQ3344 for the TMX old version on 5 1/4 from a shop 90 miles away. Have to do some hex editing to the freq files the version I got hold of will only take a conventional from 806-810. Working up a map to the freq files to make it easier for future use.
