Yes. ProGrammer is not backwards compatible with EDACS1.

Ok, I'll ask them to use the dos version or just give me the codeplug and I'll program it. They have to borrow the cable from me anyway as they only have LPE-200 and Jaguars on the system right now.

I don't think the engineer will mind - he's a radio geek like the rest of us.

How do you get an M-PA to do DPL? I can't figure it out does PL (CG) just fine.

Just type the digital code into the "CG" column. It will accept it OK.

yep tried it, still get squelch tail and no CG on display. This is an EDACS 800 M-PA, not a conventional. 128sys/grp radio with VG/AGEIS

Sorry, got confused there...
So you enter a DCG code into the similar column on EDACS1 & it won't accept it? Or it just doesn't seem to work??? Can't say my EDACS MPA has anything conventional in it using DCG. Guess I need to try it on mine & see what it does......

it accepts the code in this case DPL 205 however it won't access the conventional repeater or show the CG icon on the display. Regular PL works fine for example on the NIPSPAC channels.
