S-550 Programming Questions

Does anybody know if you can use an S-825 programming cable to program an S-550 16ch. head? If you can't, does anybody know where I can get an S-550 programming cable? Haven't seen them around at all...
Also, anybody with any experience with the S-550, your input would be appreciated! Thanks.

The S550 head does not need to be programmed. The Delta or Rangr that it is connected to tells it what to do. So, you can program a Delta or Rangr with the S825 head then switch over to the S550 if you are already using the proper control cable (need p/n: 19D901739G1 for use with the 550 or the 825 head). The S550 head can only access 16 or 32 freqs (depends on whether your head has the A/B switch or not) - so your radio needs to have 1 x2212 EEPROM for 16 freqs or 2 x2212's for 32 freqs total.
