990 ham flash

Post by kd6kml »

I was talking to some fellows the other night during an opening on 6 meters, and they mentioned the ham flash program for the 990 control head. It allows for programming the radio from the keys on the head.

What's up with this? Is the program in the public domain? I don't want to be out of line asking for something that shoudn't be asked for on the forum. From whome is it obtained?
I would assume that it is burned into the EPROM in the head. Does it still allow programming of commercial frequencies (for RX only of course)?

I normally use the suitcase, but this would be great for traveling.

Thanks,
Josh
