TK630H low split low band ?

Post by mike m »

will the tk630H low split low band radio program down to 29.0 MHz and if so is it direct programming or a hack in the software ? Also what software and cable does the radio use and are there any internal mods needed to get it into programming mode ? And how many channels does this radio have ?

You need the KPG-4 cable and KPG-7D software. The low split goes down too 29.700mHz but the SP tune option in the software allows direct entry of freqs down to 29.000mHz. the basic comes with 32 channels with expansion eprom 99 channels. The full featured head with expansion goes to 160 channels.

Thanks, this is a friends radio I think it is the basic model but even if not , 32 channels should be suitable to fill up most if not all of the 10 FM channels.
