I've seen these radios around, however I don't know much about them.
Is there someone who can give me some info?
I believe New York State has them in the troop T (The NYS Thruawy Troop) cars, and they are setup for VHF (Car>Car, Car>Base) and a statewide repeater system for the Thruway authority, which is on UHF.
Anyone have any info they could share on them?
Thanks
Alex

I've had the fun experience of installing several of them in a single control head dual-radio setup. FD here has that setup in all Battalion Chief's (BC's also have a VHF 100w for mutual aid), Pumper, Rescue & Quint rigs. Using an 800 EDACS 35w for dispatch/tac & the conv 800 35w for fireground.
PD here has them on all motorcycles, helos, mobile command posts.
Seems that they are a solid radio compared to all of the EDACS Rangrs & MDXs that we still have in service. I've set some Orion control stations up as well. Use them as hard patches on the EDACS system to other area agencies.
Gossip that I've heard about them is you can't program any Orion out-of-band (never had the chance to try it myself).
