PCS Programming

Post by NorthYork21 »

Hi there. I have an 800MHz EDACS PCS portable that I'd like to program up with a bunch of systems/talkgroups - RX only.

Can someone give me an idea what I'd be looking at to do this, hardware wise?

PCS-2 is a ribless cable... so if you don't have a GE rib (TQ3370) around, this would be the way to go.

I was hoping for homebrew, seeing as I'd only use it once.

Besides the cable you will need the tyco/macom windows programming software. Which is a current product and not readily available for d/l.
