MDX Feature Code

Buddy of mine was messing around with the Radio Maint program trying to adjust the squelch. Anyway to make a long story short he altered the feature encryption data and the radio does not want to work properly.

Can a feature code from any other MDX work? If not will M/A comm. advice me of what my code should be via serial number? Any help would be appreciated

Feature code from another MDX will not work correctly (if at all).
M/A-COM will supply the correct Feature Encryption Data string
for you, but they always ask you for the ESN and the external
serial number both...

If the radio isn't too screwed up, you should still be able to
extract the ESN using RadioMaint...
