Monogram mic replacement

Post by tomstrike »

Hi All,

I have a customer with a monogram mobile, model number 344a4210p13 and think the mic is going bad. I don't want to go clear over there if the old mic I have isn't compatible. Thier current mic is model number 344a4210p21, it a desk mic. My old spare is 344a4210p20. It looks like they would be the handheld and desk versions of each other but I'm not sure.

Thanks for your help,

Tom

I don't see those numbers in my Monogram manual, but, if you replace the desk mic with a mobile mic, you will need to provide a grounded mic hangup. If the mobile mic is not grounded, the radio will be in monitor mode all the time.
