programing TK-270g

I pretty much have the unit set up the way i want it, however i need help in one area. by pressing and holding the bottom side switch and pressing the > button, the unit allows you to adjust the squelch level, here's my question, can i set it up so by depressing the top side switch and pressing, either the <or >, or any of the dtmf keys to go into 2-tone encode mode? I have all the versions on the kpg56d, including the windows version if that option is only available in one or another.
