kenwood tk 830 speaker problem

I am having problems with my tk 830G I have hooked the speaker up and no volume.. when I power it on I get the load beep but no volume from the active frequncies.. any ideas..

Do you have PL on the receive frequencies?

I do on some but it does it with or with out PL also I tried the speaker at the remote head and the radio and it is the same.. I have also tried a diffrent speaker

That amp has a few inputs.....it is possible to have one section go bad and still get the power on beep. Try the amp board from another radio and see if it works,also could be a bad relay on the same board,try programming it for PA and see if that works.
