TK-730 Software version ?

Just picked up a TK-730(G) radio. Will KPG-7D work, or do I need to find some oddball version?

My best guess is that it will work OK. I think the only thing different about the 730G is that it will do narrowband or wideband freqs. I have never progged any (G) models, so I can't tell you for sure.

I assume the latest version of 7D supports the selectable bandwidth freqs.
Someone else on here ought to be able to verify my info......

Most of the KPG7D versions of software found online will work for you. If you look under the "MODEL TYPE" menu, you will see "WN" as an option. That means "Wide/Narrow" and is the type you have.
