Thanks

EDACS Rangrs do not work like their conventional counterparts in that respect. You are required to program both the head & the Rangr seperately with the same file.opd1653 wrote:Hi:

The TQ3338 cable works with any S8xx control head (EDACS or conventional).

The TQ3313 cable only works with EDACS Rangrs.

Please see the Hall Electronics website for these details......

S-850 and Rangr 800
Hi Ken:
Thanks for the reply, was not aware that both head (S-850) and radio needs to be programmed. When I attempted to program the radio, with the TQ-3313 cbl it did not appear that the info(program) was transferred though, any thoughts? Using a Price rib and GE cable.
Thanks
Al

Really need to be more specific. The software displays an error while programming or what?
Make sure you have the control head connected to the radio, power it on & the S8xx should display "program". If your mic is still connected to the head while trying to program it or the radio, the mic must be hung up or the head will display a flashing "monitor".
Programming the control head does not require it to be connected to the radio, it only requires the power cord & programming cable......
