TK-730 add/delete channel

I picked up a couple TK-730's off Ebay to use for SAR. I programmed them with a KPG-4 cable and KPG7d (ver 2, 02?) software. My question is why won't my delete/add button work after programming? The key assignment is right in the software and the scan button will start scanning the channels added in the programmed list, but I can't add or delete channels from the panel.

You have to hold scan and press Add/Delete. It won't do anything if you just press Add/Delete. It's annoying, I know.

Thanks very much, I was expecting it to act like my TK-760G.
