OK folks, reasearching a bit more. the pin out sayas for th horn Alert that it can be moded for other functions, I found a tech note form pyramid that shows me how to extract data audio thanks to someone can't remember who that pointed me over to a voice mode for a repeater there.

anyhow for pin 10 and 11, it is horn alert, if you do not use kck-5 another function could be output to this pin after special modifications.

I can;t seem to locate a KCK-5 info, I am assuming that they mean KCH coudl soemone confirm this...

Kck-5. Card interphase of DTMF and 2 tones with relay to activate the horn. (it does not include decoder). For Series 30 moving bodies

well there is my answer in spanish only google translator.


so if I cam going to mod the radio with the two jumpers for audio input to the tone pot as well as the COS from the IC should I then try and find one of the adapter boards and make the calbe, or jsut soder right on to the pin is self?
