Several of the members of our fire department use TK-730's we've bought off Ebay. About half of the radios seem to have a very narrow range of volume adjustment. The adjustment from too quiet to too loud is just a few degrees of knob turning. The other radios work normally. The volume knob doesn't appear to function like a normal volume where it's attenuating the actual audio...it's varying a voltage that goes to a chip. They all have the KCH-4 head.
Is there a software or hardware adjustment to give the volume knob a more normal range of adjustment?
