TK-630H Current Draw on RX

Hi all.

I have a tk-630H, but we have no manual. Radio programs OK, TX out is 100W, no problem. HOWEVER, when the PTT is released, the radio still is pulling about 4-6 amps, and the PA's heat up pretty good. Recycling power via the on/off switch does NOT cure the problem. Completely removing 12V, and then re-applying cures the problem, until PTT is pressed again, of course. Any ideas? Seems as though something is not "releasing" when going back into RX.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
