Brain Fart/ M-PA

Post by NodrogCop »

Hi all --

I've just finished programming an M-PA for a friend using 11.1. I can't save the personality because it's telling me the file name is invalid. I'm guessing the path is incorrect. Can anyone provide any guidance for getting it right - my DOS skills are diminished after a long day...

Also, does anyone know if M-PA parts are still available from M/A com? I need a new scan keypad...

Thanks in advance.

Don't forget that DOS has an 8 character limit on file names. DOS also won't let you use certain special characters like / \ + _ # % & ( ) < > and maybe some more I have forgotten about in the file name. We all get use to windows and then have to put up with the Motorola RSS limitaions.
